Concessions fares for Transport Canberra
ACT Seniors Card cardholders can access free off-peak travel on Transport Canberra bus and light rail services. Off-peak periods are between 9am and 4.30pm and after 6pm weekdays, plus all day Saturday, Sunday and on public holidays.
Older Canberrans over the age of 70 are able to travel for free on Transport Canberra services at all times.
Pet registration concession
ACT Seniors Card are recognised for pet registration, but at this stage cannot be verified through ACT Digital Account unlike a Services Australia concession card.
People using an ACT Seniors Card need to register their pet will need to do it by contacting DAS (02) 6207 2959 to claim the concession. They can then manage their registration via Digital Account thereafter.
Vehicle registration concession
ACT Seniors Card cardholders may be eligible to receive a 10% discount on vehicle registration, and a 28% discount on registration for gas or electric vehicles.

Show your ACT Seniors Card when you visit an ACT Government pool to pay a reduced entry fee.
Entry to Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve
ACT Seniors Card cardholders are able to access a discounted vehicle entry fee when visiting the Reserve. Entry fees are payable on arrival at the Visitor Centre.
